High School: At the level 10 States in 1994, she won first place in the vault, bars and all-around competition. Won the all-around competition at the Gym Carolina Classic in 1995. Was also bars and floor champion in 1995 for the level 10 States. At the level 10 States in 1996, she took first place on vault and beam. Her performance at the 1996 Level 10 Regionals earned her a spot at the Level 10 Nationals where she scored a 9.425 on the bars. Ranked third out of 560 students in her class. Member of the National Honor Society, Beta Club, and in 1996 she was a semi-finalist for the National Merit Award.
